Lots of birds visit our new house on a daily basis. Yesterday I counted 6 at one time finding what they could in the back yard. As a child my Nana introduced Robyn and me to birds such as cardinals, blue jays, titmice, mocking birds etc. We used to feed the birds on our back patio. So, seeing all the birds here made me want a bird feeder. I bought one yesterday and am anxiously awaiting our first visitor. A male cardinal was checking it our earlier but did not stay. You can see a Robin Redbreast accessing the situation from a distance. Do you like our rotten half falling down fence in the background?

Oh, Sissy, that was so sweet about Nana. The picture is really pretty to me, quite rustic. There were lots of robin red breasts in our yard the other day. Come on spring. G
