AGHHH! So, I go to Starbucks to use the internet. Chip and I spend $7 on drinks only to sit down and see a sign that says you have to pay for internet. I have never been to a coffee shop that requires you to pay if you make a purchase. So, we leave and decide we will just go sit in the parking lot and use someone else's internet. We did. I sipped my drink a few times but did not like it. I ordered a Peppermint White Mocha. (This was the 3rd thing I ordered. They were out of everything else at 7:45pm on a Saturday night). Chip ordered a Caramel Macchiato. With only a few sips left in his cup, he looks at the markings on his cup and he says, "what does PWM stand for?" To which I respond, "You are drinking my drink!" Then I taste it and it is really good! AGHHH!

oh sad, shelley! i completely know that feeling...and I am also pretty sure that starbucks is one of the last places around that charges you to use the internet..it's called T-Mobile hot spot...so it's actually t-mobile that charges you. Joe Muggs lets you use their internet if you have a "books a million club" membership. anyways, it's all a scandal. but most places are free these days, including Krystal...go figure. and by the way, what drink did Chip order?? :)
John wanted me to pass this info on to you....If you get a Starbucks gift card and register it online and then use it to pay for your purchases at Starbucks you get 2 free hours of wifi a day. You also get free refills on teas and regular coffees, free flavors for your coffees, and the cashier told John that if you use it regularly that Starbucks will occasionally put money on your card for being a loyal customer. The card is free so it is a good deal. There is a card that you pay for and it gives you better deals but this is the stuff you get with the free gift card.
