The week before Christmas I had a delicious gumbo, made by a new friend. So, I decided that the day after Christmas I would use the leftover turkey to make a Turkey & Sausage Gumbo. I was really nervous about it because I did not think it was turning out right. But, as it turns out it was really good! Chip loved it. It made a ton so I froze some. My mom and sister came the next week to visit while Chip was out of town. And I had to feed some to them too. They loved it! It is a new staple at our house.

Again, the gumbo was sooooo good! I still can't believe you can get the "r" thing in a jar. Oops. Now your secret is out. So what. Semi-homemade is good too, especially when you have 5 to feed. Love and kisses to all. The pictures are great! The raincoats and boots are just adorable. Gran
