I met with my new doctor on Tues before heading out of town. He told me it is very common for people to have nodules in their necks. What was uncommon was the size of mine. At my ultrasound on May 5 it measured 1.6cm. Any nodule over 1.5cm requires a biopsy. Mine is scheduled for July 8. He did not seem that concerned about it. He said that 95% are benign. My prayer is that I am in that percentage. It already feels smaller to me and seems less noticable than it did at the beginning of the month.
