Chip and I are in LR for a few days looking for a rental house or apartment. We got a contract on our house after only 4 days on the market. We are not closing until the end of March. This trip was set up before we even had the contract. Pray for wisdom on where we should land here. There are so many areas/suburbs. We want to find a church before we buy so we are going to rent for about 6-12 months. It is hard to know where to start. We got here tonight and it was dark and rainy so hopefully in the light of day we will have some success.
The kids are with Casey and Jill tonight and then Ryan and Leanne for the rest of the weekend. What am I going to do without my friends when i move!!!

Prayed about the house/apartment this a.m. on the way to work. I know you will miss your friends, but you will make new ones. You know the rhyme, Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold. Praying for the babysitters too. Love, Moma
It's amazing to me when I see the Lord's plans come together for you and Chip. How many houses have you sold in less than 3 months...it's amazing to me! I can't wait to hear more details as the Lord directs your path!!!
What are we going to do without our friends...It really breaks my heart to hear Jadyn talk about how she doesn't want ya'll to move. She really talked about it more than ever today and yesterday after the kids stayed with us.
that is amazing that the contract came so quickly. How affirming of God!!! If you got to the Acts 29 website you can find church plants in any area of the country. This is Mark Driscoll's ministry. These churches are HIGH focus on community so it might be a great place to start looking. To be a plant they have to go through the acts 29 training and from what we can tell these churches really seem to be doing discipleship and community. Hope it goes well!!
Hey, my brother and his wife live in Bryant, just outside of Little Rock. And she is from there, grew up there - I can give you their email addresses if you want to ask someone specifics about the area that has lived there for a long time. I know they'd be happy to help! Oh, and they love Bryant, good schools, etc. just FYI!
